Welcome to Amwell Valley-Ringoes Rescue Squad.  Organized in 1957, the Amwell Valley-Ringoes Rescue Squad is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the sick and injured in Ringoes and surrounding areas.  Our membership consists of 25 dynamic volunteers, most of which are EMT-B certified.  The Squad is constantly training to hone its skills and many members have advanced training in firefighting, farm and vehicle rescue, and, mass casualty incident management.  Most members are outfitted with two-way radios, first-aid, and oxygen jump-bags.  Each Squad vehicle is equipped with a defibrillator. When a citizen dials 911 in the Amwell Valley, he/she will see one of our members in minutes and an ambulance not too far behind.  We have one of the fastest all-volunteer rescue squads in N.J.; our ambulance’s average response time is just 4 minutes from the time of the call, until the time the ambulance is en-route.
